Each shire has a minimum of three power plants and everything is run off of 12v, 24v and 48v DC power. There are shires that specialize in the generation of power and will use a Tesla Wireless Broadcast Systems to send power to other shires. This is an AC transmision that is converted to DC power inside the shire.
